LOCATION: Between 6th street and 7th street from Elk Avenue to Belleview Avenue.
AMENITIES: Old Town Soccer Field, Pitsker Ball Field, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Horseshoe Pits, Yelenick Playground, Yelenick Pavilion, Town Tennis Courts, and the Center for the Arts with their outdoor stage.
PARK DESCRIPTION: Town Park is Crested Butte’s central park attraction during the summer months. The adult softball league plays on Pitsker field many weekday evenings. Mondays throughout the summer one will find the Old Town Soccer Field packed with families enjoying one of the series of free Alpenglow concerts put on by the Center for the Arts. Organized youth baseball, and soccer programs populate the fields from when the snow melts in the spring until it builds up in the fall.
Yelenick Pavilion and Playground are a great place for a picnic or birthday party. It’s easy to pick up a game of horseshoes or volleyball most any evening throughout the summer. The tennis courts at the four-way are free to use on a first come, first served basis except during clinics.
