Babe Ruth Baseball
The Crested Butte Blue Jackets compete in May and June in home and away games in Olathe, Delta, Hotchkiss, Paonia, Cedaredge, and Gunnison.
Early Registration Deadline is 10:00 pm on Monday April 29. Registrations processed prior to the deadline will be discounted $20 at checkout. If paying with cash or check, registration and payments must be received in the office by 5:00 pm on Monday April 29.
Coaches: Follow the link below to our Coaches Corner for all the information you will need for the upcoming season. Coach Taylor will once again lead the Bluejackets toward a successful season.
Pre-season Meeting: Thursday April 25 at 5:30 pm at Town Hall. Prospective players and parents should attend this informational meeting.
The Season Practices will begin on May 1st at the earliest. Practice locations and times will be subject to spring thaw, gym and field availability. Games will begin the end of May or beginning of June. The end of season tournament will take place in the beginning of July. An All Star team may be put together.
The Babe Ruth Mission Statement reads: The Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball program, using regulation competitive baseball and softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. In all aspects, Babe Ruth League, Inc. is committed to providing our participants with the very best educational, sports experience possible. It is our fundamental belief that every child with a desire to play baseball or softball be afforded that opportunity.
Scholarship Information is available online and application forms are due prior to the early registration deadline.
